Harperceppe- Ottawa's most glamourous couple.

Rumours have been circulating in the nation's capital that the many red carpet appearances the couple have been making since May of 2005 have not been have not been idle speculation of a pending romance. That all became clear when the couple announced today that they were an item.

Could this all be for publicity? Harper is pushing his new film, Budget 2006- "Don't Say I Didn't Say I Told You So", and was seen arm and arm with Duceppe at the film's premiere. Could a couple be more different? One wants to break up the country, the other wants to destroy it from within.

Engagement? Marriage? A baby? Our last Ottawa power couple had a nasty split. We all remember MacKayChard. It started out so magically with the exchange of a dinner knapkin that had a simple little promise on it that was never kept.

Well if we do have a wedding, I would recommend that there be a pre-nup agreement. Harper could be more interested in the Duceppe family's estate then their beautiful son. We will wait and see.
